The Fire

Hello. Today, I am going to review The Fire by James Patterson. The Fire is the third book in the Witch and Wizard series. The Fire is actually the conclusion to the Witch and Wizard series. Here is a synopsis:

Whit and Wisty Allgood have sacrificed everything to lead the resistance against the merciless totalitarian regime that governs their world. Its supreme leader, The One Who Is The One, has banned everything they hold dear: books, music, art, and imagination. But the growing strength of the siblings' magic hasn't been enough to stop the One's evil rampage, and now he's executed the only family they had left.
Wisty knows that the time has finally come for her to face The One. But her fight and her fire only channel more power to this already invincible being. How can she and Whit possibly prepare for their imminent showdown with the ruthless villain that devastated their world-before he can truly become all-powerful?
In this stunning third installment of the epic Witch & Wizard series, the stakes have never been higher—and the consequences will change everything.

This third book I thought was a 4 out of a possible 5 stars. The book was very intense with a lot of action and fights. Wisty and Whit together- without the Resistance are on their own, homeless and ill. Wisty is plagued and Whit tries to save her no matter what. This was a very sweet moment because it shows how much Wisty means to Whit. Wisty and Whit then split up. Whit meets the Resistance and Wisty disguises herself by working for the New Order. At the end of the book, the two teams join together, along with some unexpected guests and defeat The One who is The One. The reason I gave this book 4 stars is that the book had a short and forced moment in the book. Anyways, I believe that this book is the perfect conclusion to the Witch and Wizard series.
